My name is David Edward Butt. I am 25 years old. As I am updating this page, I'm listening to some Christmas tunes - it's December 23, and it looks like we might actually have a white Christmas! Only two more sleeps till Christmas.

This past summer I lived in Ottawa as I worked at Industry Canada for my IT workterm. Besides that qiuck 4 months, I've lived at 22 Reid Street in St. John's, Newfoundland for my entire life, with my mother Diane, my father Paul, and my identical twin brother Douglas. I have a large extended family, since my father came from a family of twelve and my mother came from a family of eight. You can view pictures of my family in the gallery, if it is actually updated. At the moment, it's undergoing renovations, like the rest of this site. But I am in the process!

I am completing a one-year Intermediate/Secondary Education program at Memorial University of Newfoundland - this upcoming winter semester is my intership at Mount Pearl Intermediate. After graduating from Eugene Vaters Pentecostal Collegiate in 1996, I enrolled at MUN, where I (and my brother) convocated in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a minor in Computer Science. We completed all 40 of our courses together! After graduating, we both took a (much needed) year off. I then went back to school and completed a Diploma in Information Technology at MUN, while my brother is (who is engaged to the girl in the picture to the right), is in the Faculty of Social Work at Memorial.

In my spare time (which is seldom these days), I enjoy reading, listening to music (I am addicted to CDs), playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
